THE CLASSIC 1953 WAR OF THE WORLDS
RELEASED ON DVD
On
November 1, Paramount Home Video releases a Special Collector's
Edition DVD of the George Pal 1953 production WAR
OF THE WORLDS, starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, and directed
by Byron Haskin.
For
WOTW fans, this new DVD edition will be a welcome and superior
replacement for the previous, bare-bones DVD edition marred by
a very poor film transfer and lack of extras.
