UPDATED 6/12/11 — The Apes Will Rise Facebook page unveiled a new RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES trailer as marketing for the film builds steadily. FilmEdge originally posted this cut in its International trailer form (with the August 12th release date for Europe), but now Fox has retailored it slightly as the latest domestic trailer with the US August 5th release date on the back end. Very much worth viewing if you missed it before, and deserving of a second look if you've seen it already. Unlike many genre films, the more Fox shows of us RISE, the better the story and content seems to get. FilmEdge still ranks RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES among our top anticipated films of this summer. Be sure to check out TV spots #1 and #2 which have gotten lots of airplay recently, as well as RISE co-sponsoring the recent MLB Home Run Derby broadcast.
