STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Season Finale Exclusive Trailer – direct from Wondercon!

Young Boba Fett returns in his father's SLAVE I ship to challenge the Jedi in the Season Two finale of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS premiering at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT Friday, April 23rd and concluding April 30th on Cartoon Network. TM & © 2010 Lucasfilm Ltd. All rights reserved.

Fans attending the Inside Star Wars: The Clone Wars panel at WonderCon today were the first to see an exclusive sneak peek of the explosive second season finale.  Supervising Director Dave Filoni, Daniel Logan (voice of Boba Fett) and Jaime King (voice of Aurra Sing) were on hand to present the trailer to an enthusiastic audience.

FILMEDGE is alerting all fans, young and old: if you haven't been watching THE CLONE WARS animated series, watch this new trailer previewing the action-packed Season Two finale and catch a glimpse of the STAR WARS you've been missing.  Yes, there is some real STAR WARS going on in this animated expansion of George Lucas' galaxy.

As you'll see in the trailer below, THE CLONE WARS has matured a great deal since it first aired in 2008 and critics who dismiss the series as a "kid's show" ignore the subtle threads of true STAR WARS storytelling woven through each episode.  Now the series ties these threads together in a complex tapestry of characters, action and dramatic tension.

The lines between feature films and televised series, once wide in both style and scope, are quickly being erased as the Clone Wars take a troubling turn for the Republic and the Jedi Knights sworn to protect it.  Young Boba Fett forges a dangerous alliance with the galaxy's most treacherous bounty hunters to seek his revenge against Mace Windu and the Jedi for killing his father Jango Fett, as seen in Episode II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES.  This fateful confrontation will no doubt make a thrilling season finale and advance THE CLONE WARS to the next stage of its storytelling evolution.

For STAR WARS fans seeking new adventures in their favorite fictional galaxy, don't miss the remaining four episodes of THE CLONE WARS Season Two — here's where the fun begins!
