Giving more in the galaxy
Recently FILMEDGE previewed the charity screening of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK on May 19th in Hollywood — a benefit event for St. Jude Children's Hopital which sold out in minutes. Gear up for Orlando today!
Three new Star Wars Celebration V t-shirt designs have been released for preview and pre-ordering by convention ticket holders, getting you geared up for the Orlando fan event this August.
The Boba Fett Celebration V logo design is ready for order now and shirts will begin shipping July 25th in time to wear at the con. Two Boba Fett Jet Ski designs can be pre-ordered now but can only be picked up on-site at the event in August.

Bonus Features in Force
At this weekend's Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo, Lucasfilm Director of Fan Relations Steve Sansweet revealed some new details about the STAR WARS films highly-anticipated release on Blu-ray discs. Though no release date was given yet, we learned this much:
Lucasfilm plans to release all six films in a high-definition Blu-ray set packed with plenty of rare bonus features, many of which have never been released. The Farce is with them
Lucasfilm Animation, creators of the hit series THE CLONE WARS, is developing a new comedic series with Robot Chicken producers Seth Green and Matthew Senreich. After working separately but with George Lucas' blessing (and even his own voice acting participation), the STAR WARS satirists are now joining forces with Lucasfilm to poke some official fun at the franchise.
While no details are yet available and a network has not been signed, expect some edgy fun poked at the STAR WARS galaxy in irreverent Robot Chicken style. |
