Direct from its debut today at Comic-Con 2011 in San Diego, watch the new sizzle reel previewing Deleted Scenes from STAR WARS: The Complete Saga, a short sampling of the hours of bonus features coming soon on Blu-ray.
The sizzle reel includes footage from several deleted scenes in the Original Trilogy.

Earlier today Amazon UK revealed a new image previewing the contents of the STAR WARS Complete Saga Blu-ray box set, arriving in our galaxy September 16th. The nine-disc collection features appropriate character art on each disc for the Prequel and Original Trilogies, and pays tribute to the Saga's famous droid duo and the galaxy's coolest scoundrel on the three Bonus Material discs.
This weekend STAR WARS IN CONCERT returned to Southern California, filling the famous Hollywood Bowl with devoted fans and John Williams' brilliant score compositions gathered from all six STAR WARS films. Hosted once again by actor Anthony Daniels, the human alter-ego of the Saga's golden protocol droid C-3PO, tonight's performance held a very special surprise: legendary composer Williams himself took the stage at the conclusion of the main program to lead the orchestra in a rousing encore. While promoting the opening of Star Tours - The Adventure Continues at Disney theme parks with Imagineering project leader Tom Fitzgerald, George Lucas also spoke about the upcoming theatrical re-release of the STAR WARS Saga films now enhanced with 3D presentations, and about the long-rumored live-action STAR WARS television series.

Lucasfilm launched two web ventures anticipating the September arrival of STAR WARS on Blu-ray: first was the new Official STAR WARS Facebook page which gives the saga a social networking presence for fan interaction; and then StarWars.com adds their May the 4th Be With You page, featuring a countdown to that pun-generated date when the site promises "All will be revealed" about the STAR WARS Saga Blu-ray collections, now scheduled to street on September 16th, 2011.

The Disney Parks Blog shared this newly updated video recap of the Last Tour to Endor fan event, celebrating the ceremonial shut-down of the Star Tours attraction, part of the Star Wars Celebration V convention in Orlando, Florida last month. The special after-park-hours event invited guests to dress in costume as their favorite STAR WARS characters, yielding a crowd of Jedi Knights, Princesses, Sith Lords and Stormtroopers among other galactic characters.
