The Chainsaw Awards were hosted by Jamie Kennedy at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles.  Musical performers included Slipknot, 30 Seconds to Mars, Chingy and Avenged Sevenfold.  Award presenters were Robert Englund, Avril Lavigne, Jada Pinkett Smith, KORN's Jonathan Davis, Linkin Park, Sum 42, Fall Out Boy, Samaire Armstrong, Brande Roderick, Regina Hall and The Girls Next Door.
