Warner Brothers has just launched the CLASH OF THE TITANS online game, enlisting you to lead a band of brave legionnaires to battle the Scorpioch and Medusa as seen in the upcoming epic adventure film.

SCORPIOCH STRIKE:
Born from the blood of Calibos, earthly slave to the dark underlord Hades, the monstrous Scorpioch stands in the way of Perseus and his soldiers in their quest to defy the gods.  Amid ancient ruins, players must collect shields, spears and gold health coins to fight off swarms of Scorpiochs arising from beneath the sands.

MEDUSA'S CURSE:
Medusa, once a beautiful maiden who was transformed into a hideous gorgon by the jealous goddess Athena, is out to turn you into stone.  As Perseus, you must lead your legionnaires into Medusa's lair and cut off her head.  Collect javelins and bolas to battle the deadly gorgon but avoid her fatal gaze or she will turn you to stone!

FilmEdge's initial review of the games: master your maneuverability and battle tactics to avoid a quick death from Medusa.  The Scorpiochs are easier to defeat but you must rally your soldiers in coordinated attacks while defending your perimeter — Scorpiochs may pop up from anywhere and if your war party gets divided, try to regroup.

Be sure to pick up javelins and bolos to fight at short distances to decrease damage from your enemy's attacks.  Medusa can move and strike quickly so stay mobile through the ruins landscape and use the strategy of numbers to defeat her. Seek out the Pegasus when you can for extra help from the gods.

FilmEdge found that Google's Chrome browser performed terribly with this animated game and froze numerous times during battle scenes, but Firefox handled the interactive animation play well — much better than we played it at the start!  Be sure to check out both games to get a virtual taste of your own CLASH OF THE TITANS.
