FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic Live: WAR OF THE INSECTS on DVD

If life is bugging you and you need 85 minutes of hilarity, CINEMATIC TITANIC is about to drop an H-bomb of laughs on you as they riff live to WAR OF THE INSECTS. This inane, incomprehensible Japanese mini-monster flick from 1968 depicts an improbable insect war against humasn who are spoiling the environment with all their nuclear bombs and whatnot. But the real offensive launched in this movie arises from the ridiculously dubbed English dialogue, silly special effects and amateurish acting. They give plenty of riffing ammunition to the Titans who truly detonate a barrage of laughter skewering this ridiculous sci-fi horror disaster. The dubbing in WAR OF THE INSECTS is so absurd at times, you'll think its the Titans providing the cartoonish, out-of-sync dialogue. This brilliantly awful film provides a feast of riffing material from start to finish, mocking everything from the goofy stock footage of bugs "attacking" humans to the Hitler-moustached bartender. Rapid fire pop culture references to dirty Twitter messages, Neil Young, the Flipper theme song and Michelle Bachmann create an unending supply of belly laughs that makes their latest Live DVD one of the Titans' very best.

The top notch riffing comedy crew of Cinematic Titanic just released their third Live DVD recording, a staged screening of this awful 1968 z-budget horror flick. You'll go bananas over this ridiculous story about atomic test fallout, mutant banana plants, and a rampaging radioactive monster who demands nightly virgin sacrifices.

FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic Live: DANGER ON TIKI ISLAND FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic: FRANKENSTEIN'S CASTLE OF FREAKS

Cinematic Titanic has monstrously good fun buring this flatlined corpse of an Italian horror film.  Bad voice dubbing enhances the amateur acting as Rossano Brazzi sets the name of Frankenstein back 500 years. Mute cavemen and hot-tubbing hotties charge up the Titans' storm of one-liners.

Cinematic Titanic presents their second live stage performance on DVD, blasting this war of the worst as alien creatures invade Baltimore. Leaving aside the question if this would improve the city, the Titans go ape making fun of these ETs escaped from an intergalactic zoo, unleashing destruction and cheap special effects upon Earth.

FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic Live: THE ALIEN FACTOR FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic Live: EAST MEETS WATTS

Cinematic Titanic goes Grindhouse socking it to this 1974 collision of kung fu and blaxploitation films.  When a young man from China looks for his lost brother in Los Angeles, it's hard to tell which will assault your senses more: the martial arts mayhem or the horrific racial stereotypes.

No more daylight ever, screams Mommy Deadest as Cinematic Titanic drives a satiric stake through this anemic 1960s horror.  Proving the family that slays together stays together, avoid the splash zone of this blood-soaked bungle of Filipino filmmaking which does, indeed, suck out loud.

FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic: BLOOD OF THE VAMPIRES FilmEdge reviews Cinematic Titanic: LEGACY OF BLOOD

Cinematic Titanic imposes their comedic will on the Dean family, who must spend a week together to earn their father's inheritance.  Murder, mayhem and a Meatloaf-wannabe ensue this gory, God-awful flick. Soon the bodies pile as quickly as the riffed one-liners.
