Late  in  the  20th  Century, RIDLEY SCOTT
advanced  the  evolution  of  filmmaking   into
a  new  phase  —  a cinematic vision virtually
unprecedented  —  with  his  film  Blade Runner.

      The  visual  design  and  special  effects
were  superior  in  quality  and  concept
to  all  futuristic  science  fiction  films
which  came  before  it.

      Blade Runner  was  so  far  ahead
of  its  time,  so  daring  in  its  boldness,
many  audiences  and  critics  were  simply
not  prepared  to  appreciate  its  genius.

      After  a  ten-year  wait  by  anxious  fans
of  the  film, THE  DIRECTOR'S  CUT  was
released  in  1991.   But  the  total  vision
was  not  completed.

      Now  Blade Runner - THE FINAL CUT
returns  to  theaters  in  limited  release  on
October  5th  with  digitally  restored
picture  and  sound,  before  its  December
release  in   DVD  and  Hi-Def  collectible  sets.

     This  is  not  a  remarketing  of  the  same  film.

     It  is  the  rebirth  of  a  masterpiece.
