LAPD investigating officers Dwight Bleichert and Leland
Blanchard have compiled these evidence photographs in the
yet unsolved murder case of Elizabeth Short, a.k.a. 'The
Black Dahlia.'
The victim is seen at the right in a still frame
from a Hollywood studio screen test the aspiring actress
made just before she was found murdered in East Los Angeles.
