QUANTUM OF SOLACE — Judi Dench as "M"
Dame Judi Dench is a beloved and respected fixture in British theater with a career spanning fifty years and over twenty-five acting honors including nine British Academy Awards. Her film career includes dozens of acclaimed roles in notable works like TEA WITH MUSSOLINI, A ROOM WITH A VIEW, 84 CHARING CROSS ROAD, HENRY V, HAMLET and her Academy- and BAFTA Award-winning work in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE. Dench's career continues to be filled with award-nominated performances and boasts five appearances in Bond films: GOLDENEYE, TOMORROW NEVER DIES, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, DIE ANOTHER DAY and most recently CASINO ROYALE. Ms. Dench reprises her role as MI6 leader "M", whom she first portrayed in 1995, in this year's 22nd Bond adventure QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
